Maryland Legislature Adjourns

Several SAN-supported bills died as the Maryland legislature adjourned its 2023 legislative session. To follow is a brief summary:
•    Legislation (S.B. 748) would have allowed owners to register and operate a former military vehicle.
•    Legislation (H.B. 304) would have reformed the state’s existing exhaust noise laws.
•    Legislation (H.B. 487) would have prevented the state from adopting California’s 2035 ban on the sale of new gas- and diesel-powered cars and trucks.
