Massachusetts Fails to Pass Single Plate Bill as Legislature Adjourns

The Massachusetts legislature failed to pass SAN-supported legislation (H.3488) that would have allowed the display of only a single, rear-mounted license plate for all passenger vehicles. Under current law, vehicles must display two license plates. The Joint Transportation Committee failed to advance the bill prior to adjournment.
