Arizona Legacy License Plates Bill Dies as Legislature Adjourns

SAN-supported legislation  (H.B. 2262) in Arizona that would have created new legacy license plates replicating examples from the state's past died as the legislature adjourned. Currently, authentic vintage plates may only be displayed on vehicles that are eligible for either Classic Car or Historic Vehicle plates upon authorization from the DMV. The bill passed the House but did not pass the Senate Transportation and Technology Committee.
