Delaware Bill to Ease Street Rod Registration Becomes Law
Congratulations, Delaware! With Governor John Carney’s signature, legislation (H.B. 31) easing the process of registering a street rod in Delaware by favorably changing the age and equipment requirements became law. The new law changes the definition of “street rod” from vehicles manufactured prior to 1970 to vehicles at least 25 years old, removes the requirement that a street rod’s tires be covered by a fender, and exempts street rods from equipment requirements that were not a condition of sale when the vehicle was manufactured.
Thank you to those who supported this bill!
