Wisconsin Governor Vetoes Bill Supporting Internal Combustion Engines

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers vetoed SAN-supported legislation (A.B. 142) that would have prevented any state or local government unit from restricting the use or sale of motor vehicles based on the energy source, including internal combustion engines. 

In his veto message, Gov. Evers objected to the legislature’s “effort to preempt local control and undermine trust in local governments…”
