Overview: Wisconsin has advanced SAN-supported legislation (S.B. 212/A.B. 142) which would prevent any state or local government unit from restricting the use or sale of motor vehicles based on the energy source used to power the motor vehicle, including internal combustion engines. S.B. 212 was heard in the Senate Transportation and Local Government Committee and A.B. 142 passed the House.
