Overview: Legislation (H.B. 4196) to create a special procedure for a person in possession of an abandoned antique vehicle to apply for and receive title to the vehicle has been introduced. Under the bill, the Division of Motor Vehicles would search for the owner of the vehicle and provide notice that an application has been filed for title to the vehicle. Antique motor vehicles are those vehicles manufactured more than 25-years before the current date.
