Utah Legislature Passes Single Plate Bill

Overview: The Utah state legislature passed SAN-supported legislation (S.B. 45) to allow the display of only a single, rear-mounted license plate for all passenger vehicles. The bill also applies to personalized plates. Under current law, vehicles must display two license plates. The bill now awaits approval or veto from Governor Spencer Cox.
