Overview: Legislation (H.B. 5100) allows for the attachment of a tow ball, bicycle rack, removable hitch, or any other device designed to carry an object on the rear of a vehicle without violation of the statute that the rear license plate shall not be obstructed. This bill passed out of the Senate Transportation and is currently held in the Senate Committee of the Whole.
