Overview: SAN-supported legislation (S.B. 2012) has been introduced in Texas to allow the display of only a single, rear-mounted license plate for passenger vehicles if the vehicle is unable to display a front license plate. The bill passed the Senate Transportation Committee and awaits consideration by the full Senate.
