UPDATE: Texas Legislature Passes Bill to Protect Power Plant and Fuel Choice

Overview: Texas has introduced SAN-supported legislation (S.B. 1017) to ensure consumer choice of vehicle power plants and fuel by preventing a county or other local government in the state from limiting access to certain types of power sources.
The SAN believes that Texas residents, not the government, should decide what vehicles are best for them and their families. The bill has passed both chambers of the Legislature and is now pending before the Governor for final approval.
