Rhode Island Bill to Substantially Raise Registration Fees for Antique Motor Vehicles Dies as Legislature Adjourns
Legislation (H.B. 5765) to require owners of antique motor vehicles to register them at an increased annual fee based upon the vehicle’s weight died as the legislative session ended. The bill failed to receive a vote in the House Finance Committee. This bill may be reintroduced in the 2018 session.
