New York Reintroduces Single Plate Bill

Overview: New York has reintroduced SAN-supported legislation (A. 6608) to allow the display of only a single, rear-mounted license plate for passenger vehicles for a $50 fee. Under current law vehicles must display two license plates. The bill is awaiting consideration by the Assembly Transportation Committee.
