New York Legislature Adjourns

The New York legislature failed to advance SAN-supported legislation in 2023 prior to the adjournment of the session. Legislation (A. 6608) which would allow the display of only a single, rear-mounted license plate for passenger vehicles for a $50 fee. Under current law vehicles must display two license plates.
This bill is eligible to be reconsidered during next year’s legislative session.
