Missouri Bill to Tax Cars for Miles Traveled Dies as Legislature Adjourns
SAN-opposed legislation (H.B. 2483) introduced in Missouri that would have required the Department of Revenue to charge and collect a miles driven fee of up to $200 for a one-year vehicle registration and up to $400 for a two-year vehicle registration died as the legislature adjourned. The bill was not considered by the House Transportation Committee prior to adjournment.
Thank you to everyone who voiced opposition to this bill.
