The Vintage Tin of Maryland Street Rod Club, the Mid-Atlantic Street Rod Association and the antique car club community successfully amended a bill that could have denied future generations from ever having 1980's-era and newer vehicles accorded historic and custom vehicle status.Had the bill passed, 1980's-era vehicles would have been permanently denied the inspection and emissions exemptions, prestige, and added value that the titles "historic" and "custom" confer.
