Maryland Governor Signs Bill to Approve Unfair Exhaust Noise Cameras
Maryland Govenor Wes Moore signed SAN-opposed legislation (H.B. 212/S.B.155) into law that will allow Anne Arundel, Montgomery, and Prince George’s County to enforce motor vehicle noise requirements using sound-activated enforcement devices. Rather than investing in unproven technology, Maryland needs to implement a fair testing procedure and decibel limit for vehicle owners accused of exhaust noise violations.
Thank you to all who voiced opposition for this bill.
