Province of Manitoba Proclaims July 2021 as “Automotive Heritage Month”
Thanks to the efforts of the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada (NAACC), the province of Manitoba is once again declaring the month of July as “Automotive Heritage Month.” Manitoba joins several other provinces that have officially recognized the celebration. This special occasion is held concurrently with “Collector Car Appreciation Day (CCAD).”
Earlier this year, the U.S. Congress introduced two resolutions recognizing CCAD on Friday, July 9, at the request of the SEMA Action Network (SAN). Each Congressional resolution acknowledges the day’s significance in raising awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society. The date marked the 12th commemoration of what has become an annual event.
Special thanks to the thousands of enthusiasts that gathered at car cruises, parades and other events to celebrate our automotive heritage. By taking part in events across North America, these automotive enthusiasts and related businesses have ensured that their passion was honored and recognized.
