Overview: Kentucky Lawmakers introduced SAN-supported legislation (S.B. 215) to prohibit the state from adopting California’s motor vehicle emission standards, which bans the sale of new gas- and diesel-powered vehicles by 2035.
The SAN believes Kentuckians, not the government, should decide what vehicles are best for them and their families. S.B. 215 passed the Senate and awaits committee assignment from the House.
