Idaho Fails to Pass Single License Plate Bill

The Idaho legislature failed to pass SAN-supported legislation (H. 688) to allow the display of only a single, rear-mounted license plate for passenger vehicles not equipped with a front mounting bracket. The bill also applies to personalized plates. Current law only permits the display of a single rear-mounted plate for vehicles registered as a Classic, Old Timer or Street Rod. The House Transportation & Defense Committee failed to advance the bill prior to the required legislative deadline.

Thank you to everyone who voiced support for this effort.
