Idaho Fails to Pass Single License Plate Bill

The Idaho legislature failed to pass SAN-supported legislation (S.B. 1307) that would have allowed the display of only a single, rear-mounted license plate for all passenger vehicles. Current law only permits the display of a single rear-mounted plate for motor vehicles registered as a Classic, Old Timer or Street Rod. The Senate Transportation Committee failed to advance the bill prior to the required legislative deadline.
