Hawaii Resolutions for The Construction of New Racing Facility Die as Legislature Adjourns

SAN-supported resolutions (H.C.R. 132/S.C.R. 224) advocating for the construction of a new racetrack or raceway park on the island of Oahu failed to pass the House Transportation and Senate Energy, Economic Development, Tourism, and Technology Committees respectively, and have died as the Hawaii Legislature adjourned its 2019-2020 session. The racing community lost motorsports facilities on Oahu more than a decade ago.

Thank you to everyone who voiced support for these resolutions.
