A bill authorizing clean-up of inoperable vehicles considered an “imminent threat to public health or welfare of the environment of the State” failed to pass the Delaware legislature. This measure would have allowed Delaware authorities to fine those refusing to comply with a cleanup order up to $10,000 a day until the vehicle constituting the “imminent threat” was removed.
SEMA is especially proud of the work the Delmarva Council of Collector Car Clubsdid to derail and defeat this bill.
