1 Big Thing: SAN Members Lead the Way on Major Win
A last-minute push led to the passage and adoption of the SEMA-supported EXPLORE Act, securing a significant boost for those who enjoy, support, and cater to outdoor recreation.
Why this matters: The "Expanding Public Lands Outdoor Recreation Experiences Act" will defend and grow outdoor recreation, through improved permitting for events on federal lands and strengthening small businesses (including SEMA member companies). Thousands of SAN members pressured elected officials to make this a reality.
This is a huge win to start off 2025 and gives us some serious political juice.
