H.B. 502 defines an "antique motor vehicle" as a motor vehicle which was manufactured at least twenty-five years ago, is maintained by a private collector, and is not used for commercial purposes.
H.B. 502 exempts antique motor vehicles from any tax imposed by the state or by any parish, municipality, school board, or any other political subdivision.
- H.B. 502, if enacted into law, would become effective on July 1, 2017.
