Utah Single Plate Bill Dies as Legislature Adjourns

Legislation (H.B. 207) was introduced in the Utah House of Representatives to require the issuance of only a single, rear-mounted license plate for all motor vehicles. Under current law vehicles must display two license plates. The bill has passed the House but failed to receive consideration in the Senate Transportation Public Utilities, Energy, and Technology Committee before the legislature adjourned for the year.

Thank you to those who voiced support for this legislation.
