Oregon Bill to Severely Limit Suspension Modification Defeated

S.B. 453 would have banned reasonably altered vehicles due to overstated concerns with bumper mismatch. It would have also forced owners to spend large sums of money to reinstall original components on lifted vehicles. Under the bill, vehicles whose bumpers had been elevated more than three inches from their original height would have been in violation.
