DON’T DELAY!  Please contact the Transportation Subcommittee to request their support for  S.F. 2037:

You may use the following points in your message:

  •  S.F. 2037 allows for Window Tinting as long as it meets the minimum standard of thirty-five percent light transmittance.

  • S.F. 2037 eliminates the vague statute “excessively dark or reflective” in favor of a clear technical window tinting standard.

Overview: S.F. 2037 allows for Window Tinting as long as it meets the minimum standard of thirty-five percent light transmittance. SEMA supports advancement of the industry standard of not less than 35% light transmittance on all windows other than the windshield. The bill has been introduced and referred to a transportation subcommittee.
