Georgia Bill to Unfairly Limit Vehicle Lifting and Lowering Killed

The bill (H.B. 192) would have prohibited the raising or lowering of any vehicle more than two inches from its factory ride height. This legislation would have unfairly affected everyone from low riders to 4x4 enthusiasts. Thanks to the many letters and faxes that hobbyists flooded legislators' offices with, the bill was withdrawn before it even passed committee.

What happened with this legislation is another fine example of how auto enthusiasts can inject some common sense into laws and regulations that govern what we can do with our vehicles. Thank you again to all who lent their support in the effort to kill this bill!
