Pro-Hobby Minnesota Bills Die as Legislature Adjourns

Several bills introduced in Minnesota in 2018 failed to be approved by the legislature prior to the adjournment of the session. These bills are eligible for consideration in the 2019 session:

  • Legislation (H.F. 3982) to allow for the option of registering certain decommissioned military vehicles as regular motor vehicles and not as “collector military vehicles.” Currently, all military vehicle must be registered as a “collector military vehicles.” The bill failed to pass out of the House Committee on Transportation before the legislature adjourned.

  • Legislation (S.F. 3295/H.F. 3556) to appropriate $200,000 from the off-road vehicle account in the natural resources fund for statewide planning and development of trails for off-road vehicles. Each bill failed to receive committee consideration.

Thank you for voicing support for this legislation.
